improv Shows and Classes + Your Health and Safety

To Hashtag Comedy Friends, Family, Audience Members and Students,

We want to do the right thing, and given the challenges COVID-19 is presenting, here is our plan.

Our business is built on community and we believe that community and caution can work side by side. Sometimes small is better. Our advantage is that our instructors, students and performers are local, our classroom experiences are limited to 15 people or less and our current schedule allows folx to exercise caution without sacrificing the enjoyment of occasional interaction with others.

We want to assure you that we are taking COVID-19 seriously and are taking extra precautions to provide a safe and sanitary environment for our performances and classes. Here are the extra measures we’ve put into place so that we may enjoy safety and community together.

SHOWS AND PERFORMANCES

For the next few weeks, we are running shows on a case by case basis and are supporting any decisions made by our partner venues to present a show, or cancel shows.

Furthermore, any additional precautions our partner venue makes to keep the space clean, sanitary and safe will be immediately communicated with all our  patrons and performers.

Performers who are sick or feel ill are asked to refrain from rehearsals and performances.

CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS

Classes and workshops will continue as planned, but with added precautions.

Classroom doors, surfaces and chairs will be wiped down and sanitized before and after every class.

Instructors wash hands thoroughly before and after class.

Students are encouraged to wash hands or use hand sanitizer before and after class.

While we love handshakes, high fives and hugs, friendly waves will be the mode for  greetings and farewells.

Students or instructors who are ill or feel ill are asked to stay home from class.

________

We will continue to monitor any communications regarding COVID-19 from the City of Columbus, the Health Department and others. We are taking every precaution possible to assure that we are providing a safe space for our community.

Thank you for your understanding and patience as we navigate through this challenging situation. Follow us on our website, Facebook and Instagram for up-to-date information on shows and classes.
