Course Details

Class runs for six weeks on Wednesday evenings beginning November 4 and continuing through December 9, 2020. Students and instructor meet in real time from 6-8 PM EDT. All time zones welcome as long as students in other time zones can meet synchronously with the class. Reliable Internet access and the ability to use Zoom via mobile or desktop app required.

Pre-requisites: Acting, improv, voice/speech experience recommended, though not necessary for students who are willing to dig into the material. If you've taken any of our previous accent classes or have general familiarity with Phonetics, it is a plus!

Please note, this course is more in line with a typical theater training course and is not a comedy course (though you will certainly have a ton of fun and laugh a lot as you explore your voice!). Students should be prepared to participate in exercises and training which will require vocalization, breathing techniques and physical movement of the face.
